Happy New Year!

Happy new year to all!  Our festivities began on New Year's Eve at Larry and Karen's annual party.  This is a picture of the spread at the beginning.  As people arrived, the number of the selections increased.

Mick, Nikolas, and I scooted out before the war broke out.  Nikolas is terrified of the fireworks.  Ano Viajo, we're always home before midnight, so that he feels a bit more safe.  The view around midnight is incredible from our terrace.  You can view the spectacular display of festivities from all over the city.  People were burning effigies in the street and on the river.  It was quite a spectacle.

 

The meal for New Year's Day was at our house.  Everyone is anticipating a prosperous and eventful 2013.
