Tidbits of the Weekend

We had a bit of a windstorm on Friday, which downed a tree across the river, damaging the house and fence in the picture. The tree was removed quickly.

Afterwards, we had rainbows.

Friday night we went to Lucas y Truus for hotdogs. This is one of their dogs, complete with chili.

We invited Lena and her children to join us for the dogs. Here's Lena, Leandro, Juan, and Jose. Nancy, notice the shirt that Jose is wearing, look familiar?

Saturday was Nick's 3rd birthday!

We shipped two Stiffel lamps without the shades and have been shadeless for the past year. With Dale's help, Mick found 2 shades at Commercial Solis on Sanguirima.

We picked up pictures that had been framed at An-Pi on Remigio Crespo and Mick mounted them. The result was quite nice.

Sunday we made our way to the Kookaburra for breakfast. Here are Chris and Larry.
Parque Calderon was busy.
There was a new entertainer at the Cathedral.Weekends have always been fun, especially in Cuenca. It's a time to catch up on little things that you need to do. You never know what you'll find.

Until next time,

Mick and Kathy
