The lovely meal was begun with an antipasta plate.
Guests had previously selected their entree. Mick and I both had Kung Pao Chicken, which is always delicious. In addition to the anniversary of the restaurant, it was also Jim's 70th birthday. The hat was passed on.Part of our table.
The other side of the table with Carol at the end with Mick.

Everyone had a great time. It was a genuine celebration with friends of the Evans family in attendance. The evening concluded with a salsa show. My apologies for having no pictures of the family and staff; however, when the opportunity presented itself for the picture, the camera died.
We are genuinely grateful for having George and Carol as friends. They are truly an integral part of life in Cuenca. If you're planning a visit to Cuenca, definitely make this a stopping point. They offer a smile, encouragement and a plate of comfort food that you may be missing.
Congratulations on your first year!
Until next time,
Mick and Kathy

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, and here's to another happy anniversary next year. And to Jim, for his nice hat and 70 years, cheers! It's great to see so many people happily living and celebrating.
